Most are "She can never be president because woman can't make good decisions for the whole country" or "Woman don't know what's good for the country because they don't have a mans mind and don't know what they want." Sofia is not married, but is in a relationship. She told CNN that " I will not let anything or anyone in my way because I want to make this country the safest and known as a Utopia for everyone, not just for the people that were born here in Belmere". Our buildings wont fall for anything!!!Earthquakes and tsunamis are a very big scare for the people in Belmere. There are many earthquakes in Chile, since Belmere is right beside Chile it is very common for the earthquake waves to pass by. Because of these occurs, buildings in Belmere are all earthquake-proof buildings, designed especially for earthquakes.
These types of buildings are basically designed to support a vertical load in order to support the walls, roof and all the stuff inside to keep them standing. Earthquakes present a lateral, or sideways, load to the building structure that is a bit more complicated to account for. One way to make a simple structure more resistant to these lateral forces is to tie the walls, floor, roof, and foundations into a rigid box that holds together when shaken by a quake. Belmere is very successful with their peanut butter since they grow a lot of peanut. They produced one of the top three most well known peanut butter that's sold in the world. It's called Skippy. They have three flavors, Normal peanut butter, peanut butter mixed with jelly and peanut butter mixed with chocolate. Their #1 sold is the peanut butter mixed with chocolate. They made it this cheap since they have so much of it and "fresh water should be available for everyone, with or without much cash" -Sofia Mariana 2/11/06 Bisleri has recently created another more modern bottle design and they have called it Vedica. Vedica is more "earth friendly" as the plastic that the bottle uses is compostable plastic. How it works: This plastic is not made of any normal plastic. It is made from corn starch, which is converted into a polymer with similar properties as an normal plastic. Other compostable resins are available made from potato starch, soybean protein and many more. Music:
Belmeres music is mostly songs in Spanish and songs in English. Belmere does not really have any cultural music except music made by the didgeridoo. This instrument was used to make music by the people that used to live in the forests of Belmere. It used to be like a village call to another village to communicate and to hear as calming or as celebration music. |
